The principle foundation of TaeKwonDo is the union of the body, mind and spirit to help build and preserve a peaceful world.   Through martial arts education, achievement and perseverance, the practitioner will have the confidence to overcome internal and external obstacles and trials. Worldwide, students of TaeKwonDo have learned more about themselves, their ability and skills. Having an understanding of all of this, is where wisdom is obtained through application.

Many sports teach teamwork and physical conditioning. What sets martial arts apart from most sports, is that it directly teaches the individual the skills they need within themselves to be effective team players. Conquering the internal aspects of someone’s own mind, body and spirit is the main goal we must achieve, before we can correctly help our community.   This is what makes TaeKwonDo a more effective art and sport to learn.
